Business Doodles

Today’s plan included more business tasks, working on the website and taking care of design-related tasks. I’m also trying to wrap up a design project for work since there’s no time to take care of it during work hours. I always write my plans but find myself making doodles in the margins as I work. Here’s the one from today:

You can see in the upper-righthand corner there’s an outline of a website. Do other artists do this while working? Maybe this is another one of those quirks about being an artist with a day job.

To my readers – do you find yourself doodling in the margins? Or do you have other items that you jot down in the margins of your worksheets? If so, please share them with me!

Marlana Adele Vassar

Largely self-taught as an artist, Vassar's philosophy of balancing style and substance has attracted a diverse audience to her work. Using figures as the primary subjects, she weaves symbolism and surrealism throughout her art, creating images that are personal yet open to interpretation.
